The first part of the path follows a small forest path up to Maroz Dora. Continue following the wide track through the pasture until you reach the long cottage of Maroz Dent. Here you go down to cross the Maira river and continue on the path that, making wide turns, goes up the slope until you reach an evident indentation marked by several stone cairns. Beyond this edge the Val di Cam opens up, while in the background the majestic peaks of the Val Bondasca appear. Continue to the center of the wide valley and reach the highest point (2463 m) after which the descent begins. From an excellent panoramic point you can see the entire Val Bregaglia and a good part of the remaining itinerary, of which you can recognize the Tombal terrace. The path continues well carved into the steep slope of Piz Duan. Continue for a long stretch passing above the Castel, Planac and Mungat huts until you reach the Cadrin buildings that are falling down. Follow the beautiful mule track downhill to Plän Vest and then enter the forest again to Tombal. A final descent leads to Soglio.
