The tour starts directly in the village, approx. 250 metres behind the “Prada” shop on Via Tinus, with a short climb and up the steps to the right (see also Tour “Alp Nova”). Follow the sign for “Alp Laret” and head up the trail through dense shrubs towards the television tower. At the tower, enjoy the view over St. Moritz, then continue along the forest road towards Alp Laret, which passes around 700 metres behind the tower. A steep slope takes you in the direction of Marguns. Here it leads over single trails towards the Piz Padella, which, however, is bypassed by means of a beautiful climb. The path winds gently around the mountain and after a short ascent leads downhill over a steep path through the Valletta da Bever into to the Val Bever and to Spinas. Here you can fill up your drinking bottle and prepare yourself for the next section of the route through the gently rising Val Bever. A forest road leads along the River Beverin to the Alp Suvretta 1, from where a beautiful ascent on single trails, with great views as far as the Suvretta Pass and the Lej Suvretta, begins. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Bernina glacier and look forward to the face-paced descent along Ova da Suvretta. At the Alp Suvretta 2 turn-off, the trail climbs for a short distance up to the alp, then gently drops down to the Signal aerial cableway and finally takes you back down again to the Chantarella funicular railway and to the starting point.

The tour can also be started in Marguns and ended on signal, so the cable car can be used for ascent or descent.
