A long and fast toboggan run
easy
Distance 5.3 km
With beautiful views of the Signina Group and the Rhine Valley, it goes from Curnius rapidly down to Falera. The toboggan run leads past rustic corn branches and at the well-known Mirasteilas observatory. Falera is located on a sun terrace on the left slope side of the Vorderrheintal. The mountain village is known, among other things for the Parc la Mutta. The largest and most important megalithic facility in Switzerland. From Curnius you can sled down the 3.5-kilometer toboggan run to Falera down to the valley station. From there you can easily reach the starting point with the Falera-Curnius chairlift. Even sledding fun from Curnius to Falera does not stop after dark.

Falera valley station
Turn-by-turn directions
From Falera, the smallest and oldest village in the Laax ski area, you can easily be reached by chairlift to Curnius. With a view over the Rhine Valley and towards Obersaxen, the descent starts back towards the valley station. The winding toboggan run is open daily in good snow conditions. Passing corn-fed meadows, it first leads along the chairlift before making a wide arc towards the forest. The last third of the route passes near the Mirasteilas observatory, the largest public observatory in Switzerland. Beautiful, starry night skies are part of the program here - these can of course also be experienced in a night sled party.
