Ab Bergbaumuseum Graubünden im Schmelzboden Davos, ca. 300m unterhalb der Bahnstation Monstein entlang der Alten Zügenstrasse bis zum sog. „Bärentritt“ (hier die Abzweigung zur Bahnstation Wiesen) sind 11 typische Gesteine der Landschaft Davos plaziert. Die Gesteine sind beschriftet und numeriert. In einem Flyer, der am Anfang des Gesteinslehrpfads im Schmelzboden vorliegt, werden die Gesteine ausführlich beschrieben.
