2.5 km signed path through dense snow-covered woods to Lake Bitabergh.
moderate
Distance 1.7 km
The 2.5 km snowshoe tour starts at the Orden car park, opposite the Baldini family's manor house. First the path is flat to the Salecina holiday home, then the path continues to the right of the winter hiking trail, well marked but not paved, through the snow-covered forest to the picturesque frozen Lägh da Bitabergh. Once around the lake and you are back on the same path on the way home.
Author’s recommendation
As the paths do not pass restaurants, it is advisable to take a small backpack with snacks. In Maloja itself, some restaurants offer delicious local specialities.
