Exciting tour around the villages of Müstair, Sta. Maria and Valchava. Some short technical single trails make this tour also exciting for good bikers. Because of the low altitude this tour can be ridden from April to November and is an excellent option in bad weather.

In Val Müstair this tour is well known and very popular among the local bikers. It is not rare to meet the Jauer on the sections of this round tour. The tour starts in Müstair opposite the Unseco World Heritage Site St. Johann Monastery. To get there, you ride on an agricultural road on the sunny side of the valley towards Sta. Maria. Shortly after Sta. Maria, after a short steep climb, you reach the turnoff towards Val Mora. From there you follow the forest road to Palüette (1716 m above sea level). At this bend, a woodcutter, which cannot be overlooked as an imposing wooden sculpture, guards the entrance to one of the most exciting single trails in this area. The medium-difficult single trail is a secret tip and very fluid to ride. Once you reach the bottom, you can reach the houses of Bains da Guad via Sta. Maria and a section of the Umbrail road. Here it is worth to take a break and enjoy the view. Shortly after Bains da Guad a single trail begins, which leads back to Müstair. The last part of this single trail is an exciting challenge for those who love hairpin bends. Only a few bikers can manage the whole trail without dismounting!

Singletrails vom Feinsten. Die Spitzkehren für mich jedoch nicht fahrbar. Trotzdem eine sehr lohnende Tour, wenn man nur kurz Zeit hat.
