From the Ofenpass to the Benedictine Monastery of Müstair. Ideal for singletrack enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Recommended by our mountain biker and bike mechanic Sergio Tschenett.
Biking up to Alp da Munt, in the heart of the ski resort of Minschuns, requires a little more pedal power. However, you can look forward to one of the most beautiful and fun flowing singletracks in the region; meandering through moorland and past pines and larches.
From Alp Champatsch, where you can take a short breather, the trail continues through the forest to the unspoilt village of Lü. From there, you'll find yourself mainly on singletrack all the way to Müstair. On the last section down to the Monastery of Müstair be prepared for a few more tight switchbacks. If preferred, it's also possible to finish the tour earlier in one of the other villages.
Local mountain bikers have voluntarily upgraded various sections of the route in order to provide an enhanced trail experience.
HOME OF TRAILS
Incidentally, this tour ends at the house in Müstair, where Danny MacAskill did a front flip in the "Home of Trails" movie.
