Beautiful bike tour with mostly gravel descents, a few easy climbs and some single trail passages. The tour is suitable for families and beginners with little single trail experience.
With the Jakobshorn cable car, the first 1,0000 metres in altitude can be covered quickly and comfortably. From the summit, the trail leads on a natural and gravel path past the Clavadeleralp with its famous show dairy and offers wonderful views of Davos and the surrounding mountains time and again. From Clavadeleralp, a gentle descent leads over Gämpen to the Jakobshorn valley station. Because it was so beautiful, we go up again - but this time "only" to the middle station Ischalp. From there, we take the fun flow trail "Kügelibahn". The well-built curves lead up to above the Bolgen area, where the tour continues over gravel to the Büelen. From there it continues via the Davos Adventure Park to the Parsennbahn. The next 700 metres in altitude to the Höhenweg mountain restaurant are comfortably covered by funicular. Once at the top, after a short climb (possibly a pushing passage), another natural trail leads us down to Davos. During the last descent, wonderful views and panoramas open up again and again. After more than 2,300 metres of descent, a fun-filled enduro day comes to an end that is guaranteed to be remembered for a long time.
Whole tour: 26.6 km (3 km mountain railway rides)
The "Chalet Velo" restaurant at the Davos Adventure Park invites you to take a reinforcement break along the tour. Extra tip: the delicious beef skewers with herb butter!
