For those who want to have the tour with more downhill than climb, start on the Medergen round trip through the upper Schanfigg from the Weisshorn summit at Arosa and take the gondola lift. The tour can also be tackled from Arosa under your own power, by riding via Maran and the Prätschalp to Ochsenalp. On the Weisshorn variant, the tour begins with the single trail descent along the northern ridge past the Sattelalp and the Scheidegg. After the Ochsenalp you ride primarily on single trails down to the road on the outskirts of Tschiertschen. The downhill fun continues to the bridge over the Plessur near Molinis. Now the ascent to Medergen begins. This leads mainly on gravel roads via Litzirüti, it will overcome almost 1000 metres in altitude. Power can then be regained at the mountain inn in Medergen, before going into the well-known and wonderful single trail descent to the reservoir of Arosa. This forms the brilliant final bouquet of the tour, there is only the return to Arosa on the road remaining.
