The Älpliseetrail is one of the most beautiful trails in the Rothorn massif. The tour starts at the Rothorn valley station. From there it's easy to take the cable car to the Rothorn summit. From there it's on the Bike Attack route (no. 611) through the gallery to Gredigs Fürggli. Here the tour turns right. Through the Schafälpli valley towards Arosa, or to the valley station of the Hörnli Express. This takes you comfortably back to Hörnli. The Urdental valley in front of you can now be crossed either by muscle power or comfortably by cable car. Once on the Urdenfürggli, take the Bike Attack route (no. 611) to Scharmoin. From here, continue through the Lenzerheide Bike Park to the Rothorn valley station.
