The tour begins in Schiers and initially takes us down a flat gravel track as we follow the bed of the Schraubach river. The Schraubach itself represents an inexhaustible reservoir of gravel and sand. The trail winds its way through the ruggedly romantic river landscape. The tour then climbs gently up to the old sawmill. At the old mill the trail branches off into a steep section of around 1 km until we reach the mountain village of Schuders. This is the perfect spot to take a break and visit the pretty little church. Next up is the downhill section to the historic landmark of the Salginatobel Bridge. There is a platform from which to admire this feat of civil engineering. The elegant arch bridge spans the Salgina Gorge at a height of more than 90 metres. After our visit of this impressive structure we continue on our route along an asphalted mountain road through the hamlets of Pusserein and Lasein, along beautiful pasture and forest sections, towards Fanas. Above Fanas the route alternately takes us along forestry tracks and single trails, all of which are easily accessible and in good condition. The single trail down to Grüsch is particularly exciting and fast-flowing. From Grüsch the trail levels off as we continue along field tracks and riverside paths along the Landquart river back to Schiers.

Der ursprüngliche Weg hinauf nach Schuders ist abgerutscht und nun wurde ein anderer Weg weiter vorne im Tal erstellt. Leider ist die Tour dadurch nicht mehr so schön zu fahren, aber theoretisch machbar..
