The Pendla Trail is trail biking at its very best. It zigzags its way down into the valley from the Furnerberg to Grüsch, across both flatter and seriously steep sections. It's a demanding single-trail downhill run for experienced bikers.

The downhill run itself can easily be combined with other tours such as Route 325 Furna - Trimmiser Alp. The descent begins at the Schwänzelegg mountain station of the Grüsch-Danusa mountain railways. The trail starts off gently enough as it follows the mountain road to Alp Lengweid. Here a pleasant track takes us past alpine meadows on through the rolling landscape of the Furnerberg. The single trail that takes us to Pendla begins in Teufried. At first the trail is leisurely, but don't be fooled: it quickly becomes seriously steep and tricky. The route leads through a splendid pine forest to Pendla. In Pendla we can take a short breather, easing off on the good track before we get to the heart of the downhill run. After crossing a cow pasture the single trail plunges down a steep forest section before converging into the legendary seven hairpin bends to Grüsch. The challenging trail zigzags its way towards the valley floor and Grüsch. The route requires good biking skills. The single trails are all on very steep terrain - so caution is required!
