The double-decker cable railway takes you up to the Alp Trider saddle. This is where the hike begins. In about one hour you reach Alp Bella via Alp Trida, where you can stop for a bite to eat with the shepherd’s family. From here the hiking trail leads over alpine meadows further up towards Grübelekopf. Here you pass the rock formation "near the churches", where one can literally see the alpine folding; the curved rock formation looks like a huge church window. Follow the steep path for the last 100 metres of altitude difference to reach your destination. The summit lies on the Swiss-Austrian border and offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding alpine valleys and mountains. The descent takes you along the same path back to Alp Trida, from where you can take the chair-lift to the saddle.
