Tips and hints
This long-distance trail from Filzbach to Flims is designed in such a way that the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona can be hiked from hut to hut for just under a week. On the way you will experience unique landscapes such as the Kerenzerberg along the Mürtschenstock, the Murg lakes, the Mühlebachtal, the Flumserberg, the karst area near the Schilsquelle, the fossil sites between Schönbühl-, Fanser- and Laui-Fürggli, the original Weisstannen- and Calfeisental, the Heubützl and the Foopass as well as the area around the Tschingelhörner between Elm and Flims. The Sardona World Heritage path can also be experienced step by step; or you can include more geo-sites and expand or change the hike as you wish.
By cable car up to the Tschinglen Alp. Here begins the climb to Segnespass - always the Tschingelhörner and the Martinsloch in mind. On descent, after the alluvial and moorland landscape of Segnasboden, the landscape is increasingly marked by the Flims landslide. Optionally, the tour over the Alp Ngens can be shortened with the Nagens-Shuttle.
