Safety information
In bad weather, the Steinbachtobel can be difficult to pass. Partly demanding physical requirements. Alternatively, parts of the route can be completed by public transport.Tips and hints
The route is very steep, especially between Passugg and Ober-Grida, and correspondingly strenuous. After all, there are 850 metres of ascent to overcome, more than on any other stage. On the other hand, at just under 10 kilometres, it is also the shortest of the entire hike. Nevertheless, enough time should be planned. The hiking map (Arosa Tourismus, 2009) estimates 4 hours.
