From Guarda follow the trail briefly through thesurrounding forest before continuing through the alpinemeadows to Alp Suot. This is a beautiful walk with lots of interest and varied scenery and great panorama views.

2nd stage: Guarda – Alp Suot – Marangun – Alp Sura – Alp Murtera Dadoura – Ardez (up 708m, down 891m, duration 4.30 hrs). At the eastern end of the village of Guarda the trek goes to the left into the „Val Tuoi“ and leads over alpine meadows towards the entrance of this valley. The valley of Tuoi is well-known for its diversity of plants and flowers. Along a natural street you reach the „Alp Suot“. Afterwards the trail goes up from Alp Suot for almost 150 meters in altitute to „Alp Sura“, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the lower Engadine mountain landscape. Partly steep the Via Engiadina leads over alpine meadows via „Alp Murtera Dadoura“ further to „Mundaditsch“ and „Munt“ down to the mountain village Ardez.

All hiking trails along the Via Engiadina trek require alpine experience and good orienteering. Furthermore stable hiking boots are recommended.
