The hike starts at the ARA Arosa and leads along the Welschtobel river to a small wooden bridge that brings you to the left side of the valley. Follow the sign post small / big Altein waterfall. The left trail is a bit rocky but not very steep and leads to the small waterfall. The right trail across the bridge is a bit steeper and leads to the big waterfall. To return follow the same way back until you reach the wooden bridge. Do not cross it again but continue on the same side of the valley through the Isel forest. Cross the suspension bridge further along to return back to Arosa. The themed route "Nature.Protection.Humans" is also located at the Isel.
