Distance 6.6 km
Comfortable, mainly flat route on small roads and field tracks. Past the La Stria sculptures in Vicosoprano to Borgonovo. Over the old stone bridge and on the other side of the valley to Palazzo Castelmur in Coltura. On the way to Caccior is the church of San Pietro with a painting by the artist Augusto Giacometti. Behind Caccior, the trail descends to the bridge over the Maira and along the road to the village of Promontogno.

Turn-by-turn directions
The path leads past the "Casa Helvetia", the large EWZ building, into the forest to the magnificent old houses of Borgonovo. Here you cross the beautiful bridge with two arches and reach Coltura on the right side of the valley, where Palazzo Castelmur stands at the end of the village. The route continues to the houses of Caccior and from here along a field road down the valley to Promontogno.
