A wonderful round tour from Alp Garfiun to Tällispitz, the summit of the Silvrettahütte SAC, which offers a breathtaking view over the Silvretta glacier. An absolute insider tip!

The round tour begins at Alp Garfiun above Klosters and leads towards Alp Sardasca. Alternatively, you can take the alpine taxi (book in advance!) to Alp Sardasca and shorten the tour a little. From there, the trail continues along the glacier nature trail through the apron of the Silvretta glacier. Along the nature trail there are 15 theme boards that provide information and graphics on the local conditions, but also show connections to global warming and the role of man. Once you have reached the Silvrettahütte SAC, a well-marked path leads you to the Tällispitz, which is a bit more challenging in the upper part, as the terrain is partly blocked with larger rock blocks. Once you have reached the summit of the 2,843-metre-high Tällispitz, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Silvretta glacier and the surrounding mountain landscape. The way back leads first briefly over the same path as the ascent and then over the Galtürtälli back to Alp Sardasca or alternatively further to Alp Garfiun.

Author’s recommendation

Make sure you explore the refreshing syrup bar at Alp Sardasca!

Silvrettahütte SAC also offers a wonderfully situated place to stop for a bite to eat.
