From Staderas, the route leads to Prau La Selva, through the large forest marked by the Flims landslide, past Lake Cauma to Conn, where we can enjoy an overwhelming view of the Rhine canyon at the viewing platform Il Spir. Then it's on a historic path via Pintrun to Ransun. At Ransun, there is the opportunity for a breather at the new fireplace. Then a steep descent begins in the Rhine Gorge, to the bridge of the Rhaetian Railway over the Rhine. Over this railway bridge we reach the Chrummwag, a peninsula, which is surrounded by the Rhine. There's a fire pit in a pretty clearing on this peninsula, just right for a picnic. Here we have views of bizarre and imposing rock formations. It continues through the wild and romantic Rhine gorge and a remarkable floodplain forest to the station Versam-Safien and to the railway station Valendas-Sagogn. After crossing the bridge over the Rhine and the Ual da Mulin and a short climb, we reach Planezzas, turning left. From there the trail leads via Salums to the starting point of Staderas.

Pack barbecue items - there are various barbecue areas lying fantastically on the Rhein.

First of all thank you for all the details. Absolutely amazing hiking. You basically get what you need: river, mountains, views, waterfalls, forests, beaches etc. It is not an easy one in terms of the time and effort but definitely worth it. I recommend taking regular breaks, enjoy these places but also using the outdoor app for directions. Not sure if that's true but this route seems to be created out of a few different routes and I found it only sometimes challenging to take the right turn. But the app with GPS helped :) it was just beautiful!
