Thie is varied hike on the sunny side from Seewis to the next village Fanas.

The first stretch of road leads in the direction of 'Crestacalva' and further to the turn-off 'Kohlplatz' - Fanas. On a varied track you get down to 'Kohlplatz' where fireplaces and benches invite you to have a rest. You cross the river 'Taschinasbach' and then climb up two flights of steps to the clearing 'Geissrügg'. You walk downhill across 'Munt-Tobel' to 'Dalfazza' from where you can enjoy a splendid view. On an easy path you walk to 'Valschinar', 'Lumadun' and finally you reach the sunny Fanas.
Author’s recommendation
Comment: In case of thaw or after strong downpour it is not recommended to cross the gorge 'Munttobel'. Furthermore this hike is not suitable for small children and bigger dogs, because these would have to be carried up the ladders.
