The SAC Grialetsch, Kesch and Es-cha Mountain Huts have combined to offer the Kesch trek as a single booking four-day mountain trail.

The Kesch trek is a mountain hike marked white-red-white. It makes use of the signposts for the existing hiking trails between the Flüela and Albula Pass.

Public transport

Public-transport-friendly

Rhaetian Railway from Landquart to Davos. There are two access routes to the Grialetsch Mountain Hut SAC, both of which are easily accessible by public transport: From Davos Dorf railway station to Dürrboden in the Dischma Valley (climb from Dürrboden approx. 1.5 to 2 h), or from Davos Platz or Davos Dorf railway station to Flüelapass-Chantsura, approx. 1.5 km after the pass (climb from the pass road approx. 2 to 2.5 h).

By road

Drive to Davos Platz and then take public transport to the start of the hike.

Parking

Park free of charge at the Jakobshorn car park in Davos Platz.

Arrival by train, car, foot or bike

Equipment

Sturdy walking boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, rain gear, food and drink for the hiking stages (packed lunches can also be obtained from the mountain hut), sufficient water, sun cream and head protection, first aid kit, maps and hiking sticks if required.
