Kathedrale St. Mariä Himmelfahrt in Chur: Über der Altstadt thront der Bischöfliche Hof mit der über 800 Jahre alten Kathedrale und ihrem in goldener Pracht strahlenden spätgotischen Hochaltar. Die Kathedrale ist der Mariä Himmelfahrt geweiht und zählt zu den bedeutendsten Kulturdenkmälern der Schweiz. Im 2020 eröffnete in Chur ein Domschatzmuseum, welches in unmittelbarer Nähe der Kathedrale liegt. Nebst dem eindrücklichen Domschatz umfasst die Ausstellung auch den schweizweit einmaligen, monumentalen Todesbilderzyklus von 1543, den sogenannten "Churer Totentanz".
