From Celerina past the Marguns valley station, a natural road leads in large bends over Alp Laret up to Marguns. The view opens up more and more down towards S-chanf. From Marguns it is a good 200 metres in altitude difference to Corviglia, the highest point of this tour. After that it's a steep descent on a gravel road to Alp Giop. A stop now and then is worthwhile to enjoy the view, which leads over the Upper Engadin lake plateau up to the mighty Piz da la Margna. At Alp Giop, the trail climbs a short distance to the Signal top station before the natural road reaches the first houses of Suvretta. Passing villas of famous personalities, the road leads down to the main road. Continuing via Champfèr and down to the Inn, you reach the moor lake Lej Marsch, which invites you for a swim. Past the St. Moritz campsite, a natural road leads through high moorland to Lej da Staz, another moorland lake with barbecue sites and swimming opportunities. The last stretch leads comfortably through the Staz forest down to Celerina.

Author’s recommendation

The tour always leads past excursion restaurants or barbecue areas.

If you want to take it less strenuous, you can take the Marguns or Corviglia cable car up. Both gondolas also transport bikes.
