Sils - Maloja - Isola - Sils (E-Mountainbike)

This tour is uphill right from the start! Behind the Hotel Maria in Sils Maria the trail leads up into the fragrant mountain forest to the front Val Fex. After you have crossed the pretty hamlet of Fex Platta, you can let the bikes roll downhill again a little in the direction of Val Fedoz. The overwhelming view of the blue Lake Sils accompanies you on your ride over the Petpreir and Ca d'Starnam Alps to Plan Brüsciabräga on the shores of the largest lake in Graubünden. From there, you cycle along the alpine road to the Maloja pass village, where a short detour through the nature reserve to the Torre Belvedere is worthwhile.

On the way to this tower you will discover the witnesses of the ice age along the way: the impressive glacial mills. The Torre Belvedere itself scores points with a spectacular view over the Bregaglia Valley and the surrounding Alpine world. The same road you came on will lead you back, past the campsite and through the light larch forest to the idyllic hamlet of Isola, which lies on the edge of the large delta right at the exit of the Fedozer gorge. After crossing the Ova da Fedoz, the winding path climbs steeply and leads you back into Val Fex. In the valley of Vaüglia, the carriage road points uphill again before you can then whizz past the imposing historic Hotel Waldhaus through the God Laret directly down to the village centre of Sils Maria.
