The event is all about water: You start at the thermal water, ride along the rivers Tamina, Rhine and Seez, you are guided along the lake route and you are supposed to enjoy the Walensee.

You can't get much more water than that when we travel from Bad Ragaz to Lake Walen. We start in Bad Ragaz, which owes the "Bad" in its name to the thermal water from the Tamina Gorge. For the first part of the trip, we ride along the Tamina. Outside of Bad Ragaz, we then ride on the Rhine dam until we turn off below the Ellhorn in the direction of Sargans and, after Mels, aim for the next river, the Seez, which flows into Lake Walen. Since we can't drive all the way into Lake Walen, we turn off after Flums in the direction of Berschis and Tscherlach and head for Lake Walen via Walenstadt.

At the lake, the beach invites you to linger and the terrace of the Hotel-Restaurant Seehof to enjoy. If you want, you can of course also visit the car-free town of Quinten by boat.

On the way back we pass through Mels, where a short stop at the new village square is recommended. Via Wangs and Vilters and past the Saarfall and the valley station of the Pizol cable cars, the last stretch takes us back to Bad Ragaz.
