The start is at the legendary après-ski restaurant "Bolgen Plaza", not far from Davos Platz train station. From here it's a flat start to the valley station of the "Carjöler" chairlift. This transports winter sports enthusiasts up Davos' local mountain, the Jakobshorn. After the valley station, the trail climbs for a few meters to the hill above the settlement "Hof". Afterwards it goes slightly downhill to the Brüchweg. Here the Landwasser is crossed. The source water of the Alpine Rhine follows the main valley line of the Davos countryside. The Rhaetian Railway also follows the river along its entire length - and so does the cross-country ski trail, which now ends, always slightly downhill. There is a bus stop right next to the trail. For conditionally stronger runners there is also the possibility to glide back to the starting point on cross-country skis.
