On December 23, 2017, the first permanent cross-country skiing cross-country park in the canton of Graubünden was opened in Samedan. With a small opening ceremony, the event and sports commission of the municipality of Samedan presented the park to the public.

The initiators had only a short and intensive planning and construction phase available. Nevertheless, everything went well until the end, so that the second Cross Country Cross Country Park in Switzerland could open as planned the day before Christmas. Here you could benefit from the ideal terrain in the area of Golfseeli in Samedan, where the hilly topography determines the course of the park. It immediately became clear that the Cross Park has taken equal course in big and small. So the whole family can frolic on the different elements and on the whole round small comparison races are possible at any time. The many children and adolescents present showed how dynamic cross-country skiing can be. The most attractive element is, of course, the ski jumps, where amazing flying skills were shown on the narrow battens. Cross-country skiing in this form is extremely popular with children and adolescents.Cross-country skiing Cross Park Samedan is now permanently open until the end of the season and offers an attractive addition to the cross-country skiing in the Engadin St. Moritz cross-country skiing region.
