The approximately three-kilometre-long circular ski run begins at the eastern end of the village of Ardez on the road towards Ftan. Through a hilly but mostly flat landscape, the trail leads along the small lake "Il Lai" and through short stretches of forest back to Ardez.

The light switch for the night ski run is located next to the transformer at the trail entrance. After switching it on, the light burns until 11:00 p.m. and then switches off automatically.
