At first in flat terrain over the lower Segensboden, from point 2092 further in NE direction master the slightly hilly ascent towards the upper Segensboden. With a skilful choice of route and careful assessment of the terrain, a line selection that barely exceeds 30 degrees is possible. The route continues over the flat upper Segensboden and then ascends in a northwesterly direction to the Surenjoch. With partly 45° steep passages, the key point of the ski tour. After another 157 hm in southern direction on the ridge, you reach the 3099 m high summit of the Piz Segnas. Descent along the ascent route. Alternatively the Piz Sardona can still be made.

Author’s recommendation

Those who want to make a second summit can still climb Piz Sardona.
