Der Piz Kesch 3417 m ü.M. gehört zu den aussichtsreichsten Berggipfeln in den Albula Alpen. Am Fusse des Berges liegt der Porchabella Gletscher.
Der Piz Kesch ist mit 3417m.ü.M der höchste Berg im Parc Ela. Zwischen dem Porchabella-Gletscher und der Kesch-Hütte SAC liegt ein sich ständig wandelndes Gletschervorfeld. Das Kesch-Ducan-Gebiet ist als Landschaft von nationaler Bedeutung geschützt.
Der Porchabella Gletscher liegt am Fusse des Piz Kesch. Die spezielle Namensgebung Prochabella, übersetzt schönes Schwein entstammt der Sage nach, dass sich Hirten der Gotteslästerung schuldig gemacht haben sollen. Zur Strafe wurde ihre, an dieser Stelle gelegene, schöne Schweinealp unter einer dicken Eisschicht begraben.
