The ski resort in Schanfigg valley can be reached in about 15 minutes from Chur. Parking and riding on the ski bus to the chair lift station. The cosy village lies on the north face of the mountain, making its ski resort snow sure. The two chair and ski lifts ensure that skiers are well distributed across the slopes. Which means that queueing at the lifts is something unheard of here. Children have the opportunity to practice their first turns on a beginner's slope, with a carpet lift and a kids' lift. Four mountain restaurants and a ski bar make sure that you will be well fed and entertained at all times while on the slopes. As an alternative to skiing or snowboarding, the small but well-run ski resort also offers a sledding run, snowshoe trails and a natural ice rink, where you can play a local variant of curling.
