Two golf courses create the perfect combination with the spa in Bad Ragaz. Pizol mountain near Bad Ragaz and the floor of the Rhine valley are perfect for cycling and hiking. A popular cycling and skating route leads along the Rhine dam nearby. There are also signed Nordic walking routes on Pizol mountain. In approximately four hours, the five lakes hiking route, a classic among mountain hikes, will take you past crystal clear mountain lakes with spectacular views of the Alps in Eastern Switzerland.
Bad Ragaz in winter:
The Pizol ski resort lies at an altitude of between 1,600 and 2,220 meters above sea level. There are 12 lifts and cableways, more than 40 kilometres of slopes, a free riding park, a skiing school, cross country trails and interesting ski touring routes. There is a 7-kilometer-long sledding run as well as signed snowshoe trails for snowshoe hikes through the magical landscape. A breath-taking mountain trail with a panoramic view awaits winter hikers.
